Being tru to Trussardi for a century, we got fed wine cake and savoury snacks, 

enjoyed some fine music and rested our eyes on Tru models 

and fantastic bike-sculptures by Jaka Mihelič at the Trussardi centenary celebration...

Every now and then I get fixated on some piece or style. When I was 17 I wore my hair like Dolores O'Riordan and basically bought every piece of clothing that resembled hers. I want to adopt the style of a person I admire for one thing or the other. So, to not follow the herd (that DOES make it ok) I wasn't after the engagement Issa dress which I couldn't afford anyway, but sought the morning-after blue pleated dress (dont we just love her eye for high-street finds). With a little help from my friends, I found it in the 3rd shop (4th if I count the online shop) and arranged a lasting smile on my face. Might wear it for the wedding, might not. The point is, I love clothes with a story behind them. And this one is quite a story...

Swim wimp

Pool time! Not true. It's still winter out there despite the month of May. Still, the summer is getting closer, and so are hot evenings at the beach nearby, swimming to the boat and back twice, saying hi to neighbours and parents of people i went to school with whos names and faces i can't remember. The smell of seaweed and sunscreen. Swimming towards the sunset, complaining about the sun in my eyes. Can't wait.
