Every now and then I get fixated on some piece or style. When I was 17 I wore my hair like Dolores O'Riordan and basically bought every piece of clothing that resembled hers. I want to adopt the style of a person I admire for one thing or the other. So, to not follow the herd (that DOES make it ok) I wasn't after the engagement Issa dress which I couldn't afford anyway, but sought the morning-after blue pleated dress (dont we just love her eye for high-street finds). With a little help from my friends, I found it in the 3rd shop (4th if I count the online shop) and arranged a lasting smile on my face. Might wear it for the wedding, might not. The point is, I love clothes with a story behind them. And this one is quite a story...

To channel Pippa

So, soon I will have to master the role of miss Philippa. Only a month left and I'm stuck with loads of tasks, things to prepare and do and absolutely no idea what to wear. If the budget would allow, I could make my mind up quickly of course. Will opt for something in neutrals or color, knee-length and low key. Or not. Argh.
You know when you look at your parents or aunts and uncles wedding photos and see maids of honor and bridesmaids looking like 80s technicolor or out-of-date-fruit-coloured monsters with no sense of style? I bet they thought they nailed it. I will try to avoid having to explain to people, in a few years time, how cool i looked then.

Wearing Pippa inspired dress would make 

people mistake me for the bride, so...no.

I wouldnt mind looking like this.
