Night out

Two glasses of white wine give you a different perspective on ballet. 

And nothing can top going out for one and ending up meeting most of your favourite people in a single evening.

A bloggers cocktail/cupcake evening at Sisi seemed like a good opportunity to experiment. Also, it's a debut of my new old bag! And the sequined blazer. Aaand the culotte trousers. More about the event when I win the hide and seek I play with this important cable...ah. (photos by Lida)

I found this on my desktop, unpublished...If I remember correctly I was going out in the afternoon with some friends...trying out the 'front row only' My brand for SuperTrash shirt I got with the Supertrash giftbox and that charming Sofia Nogard cuff...with that comfy boyish style. If I would dare to have it my way, I'd be going around dressed like that at any occasion. I've been 'accused' by fellow blogger of having a masculine style...what can I say, i like it statement and chunky! I can't pull off fine jewellery, girly prints, ruffles and stiletto heels. I feel like a transvestite, it doesn't go with the figure and personality i guess.

Oh I just remembered I need to show you these earrings I got!

Record

Yep, my personal record. Yesterday I spent the whole 20 hours in high heels. Very high, very heels. I took my new Asos clogs out for a walk and it turned out a marathon, ending with senseless clubbing late at night (swapped them for more comfortable high heeled boots then). There's nothing more fun than starting a day with a fashion show, followed by a coffee, hanging out with a friend, faffing about town doing all the little things you never find time for, meeting up with inspiring bears done hybernating, going through some breathtaking pieces in a designers studio (more about that in the next post)...and evening drinks, then dancing your feet off. Ouch. Best day in weeks.

Well excuse me for being home alone and really excited about chanelling Y3's fall 2011 outfit. And make up. And hair. Not the fierceness or general model cool. Just that...

Midi is for girls

You know this 'new' length that's so fashion forward lately? Yeah that one, i love it. So ladylike and flattering! I was told not to dress up, cos we were late already. Ummm...who's this Dontdressup bloke? Never met him. Give him my number. 

Olive, forest and military green were banned from my wardrobe together with bordeaux in 2002, for no particular reason, I simply couldnt stand them anymore, made me feel uncomfortable. Now, after years of neutrals, blacks, and blues, im letting some of the outcasts back in. Nothing to do with Wikileaks. And they come in wool oh yes they do. So A/Winter 2010. 

So how about my new room in the background, eh? Will post pictures of that too. And yes, even when you're late, there's always time to take photos for the blog, don't judge!

Lights

Soon it will be time for making up a new list of new years resolutions. It will take hard work to do it, and hard work will definitely be somewhere on it. One thing I'm definitely keeping on my to-do list for the year, is meeting friends and appreciating moments, letting myself finding happines where it can't be easily seen. 

To stand by my own side. For too many times we forget to be our own best friends when hard times come. Need to learn to forgive ourselves and let go.

 So...how about that white leggings trend?

December Date

Tako je. Na dejtu sem bila. Čisto pravem dejtu z Nino. Začel se je s turističnim obiskom X trgovine in njenim izrazitim lunapark efektom. 'Army šop', je sprožil plaz idej za pustne maske. Drevo, noj, sneg, nevem več. V trgovini s čevlji sva vihali nos, v tisti z igračami in pustnimi dodatki pa vriskali ob nenačrtovanem brainstormingu. Potem pa naš dobri-stari-novi-second hand shop Gvant v BTC-ju, v prostorih prejšnjega. Dress up! Kaj vse se najde! Edini nakupovalki sva se z dovoljenjem dobrovoljne prodajalke po mili volji preoblačili, igrali modno revijo, foto-šutinge, princeske in klovnese...Dokler ni prišel čas da izbereva kaj bova odnesli s seboj in odhitiva v kino. Vsi filmi so že začeli, od tistih na voljo sva izbrali lesser evil med chick-flicki, The Romantics. Ahh Katie, Katie. 6/10 - če ga gledaš z nekom, ki ima smisel za humor. Srednje kokice sva zmazali še pred zapletom. Potem naslednji film (2 za ceno enega, kaj pa), Spet ti. Ojoj. Je bil vsaj smešen. Potem sva se zapeljali domov, se razšli, jaz pa sem jo naslednji dan - poklicala. Rules must be obeyed.

Bastard Cobra

Friday nights Utrinki exhibition opening at Praetorian palace. Posters, light fixtures, wine, friends, chocolate. 

An opportunity to meet people, learn things, have fun, wear a nice silk dress, and pull its threads out with an evil cobra ring. More wine please!

SOUTH - SOUTHEAST 1/10/10

Saturday night da ba da dan dee dee dee da

After two nights of 'partying' (being in bed at 1am still counts as partying yes?) I had to trick my body into thinking its awake and ready to do it again. Yummy home made plum pie and some poisonous drinks and i ended up in bed again. For 3 hours. Then hiking for another 3, to detox. At the top of the mountain, my friend Has tried to steal some mans steak, so we got told off. Picked up some rubbish people left behind in the forest, to make up for the last few nights. Working behind a computer for hours is easy if you can't feel your legs.

- Coffee in bed and chocolate-banana pancakes for breakfast
- My friends two month-old throwing up when asked to comment on my love life.

- Writing about fashion - a great excuse to spend the day reading fashion blogs and articles
- Playing 'This is not your bone' with Has
- Full DIY facial
- Watching Supermodel.si show on the telly, since the auditions i only watch it cos i have a crush on two members of the jury, the woman and the man on her right.
- Cleaning up the mess in the bathroom, so my skin care products will feel more loved
- Going to get the new Vogue

Snowflakes

Red trousers with white snowflakes. What do you do with them? I'm actually still figuring out how to make them work. So far I've got Ray Ban Cats and a matching baby. If anything else pops to my mind before Christmas, I'll let you know.

Take me out pt.2

You know when, even working from home, sometimes you're so busy, you go out for the sole reason of dressing up and walk through a crowd of people, hoping to meet someone you know? Still, after loud music, underage crowd, some yummy ice cream that made me feel ill and meeting a beautiful, successful friend inlove (universe' way of reminding me i need to finish uni and move out), we opted for cake and wine at a birthday party by the pool. Oh you were expecting something exciting? Sorry.

NYE

Happy New Year! Hope the 31st was fun for you! I went to my friends party after being awake for nearly day and a half due to easyjet's time management. I planned to wear these (vintage blazer + Primark + Finsk shoes + lots of rings and a hairband) but not knowing when or where the party will end I ended up wearing boots. I haven't recovered from that day/night yet and already there's another party to plan...sigh (in a good way).
