Lykke Li

You don't know her yet? Shame on you!
Stockholm and NY based Swedish indie star is breaking through with her 2008 second album Youth Novels (LL Recordings). Definitely one of the best things I've heard this year. If you're 16 you might know her from New Moon ost or her covers (Kings Of Leon, Vampire Weekend,Carole King) and colaborations (Röyksopp, Kanye West, Santigold) that are also very good. Her music is romantic and healing - perfect for broken hearts, bad weather and when youre feeling blue. Or for when you're doing work. At work.
Oh, and have I mentioned she is amazingly beautiful and only 23?

New Moon OST

Despite poor dialogues and american-teen-dream plot I am now a non-enhusiastic fan of Twilight saga. And the soundtrack is not bad, not bad at all....

Mumford and Sons

This is good.
I've heard them for the first time in summer 2008, when Mumford & Sons were playing at The Cellar in Oxford. The British folk rock band was formed in 2007 and has released their first studio album called Sigh No More this year.
I give you two tracks to enjoy (the second one is not on the album):

Max Mara

I thought since i applied for a job there i might as well post an ode to Max. It's my happy place whenever i go shopping in Italy, a place where i go, have a look, sigh and go out. I did think, though, that slovenian sales people get Nobel prize for rudeness, but noone can top the lady in Triest, that said 'Buongiorno' when me and my mum got through the door of Max Mara shop, gave me a 'Manhattan all-over' then seeing my Nike trainers and went 'Ciao' with eyelids half closed. Oh well, still love the clothes.

These are from various collections; Max Mara, Sportmax, etc.

My Fair Audrey

Next week some of Audrey Hepburn's selected outfits will be auctioned in London. Items will include dresses created by designers such as Valentino and Hubert de Givenchy. Half the money collected will go to The Audrey Hepburn Children's Fund and Unicef. There will be hats, belts and accessories too. So if you love 50s and 60s style, don't miss it!
