I received the new The Seal Cub Clubbing Club album Royal Variety yesterday! Hooray! I must say after the first listen it's much different to their first album, Super Science Fiction from 2009... more psychedelic and less intense. So far I like the first two songs the most, but that's probably because I started doing work and didn't pay attention to the rest... anyway, have a listen! The artwork is beautiful and fun as it always is with those boys. You can read the BBC review here.
''Look at the kid from school, she's teaching mamas and papas how to be a little cool, she's changing fashion, the way she dress', the tracksuits are old, and the hoody's way too moody for a kid with the will to funk, she dances in secret, she's a part-time punk'' (Belle&Sebastian, The blues are still blue)
